The yearly award aims to promote women in STEAM research. This annual award is given in memory of Prof. Senthil Kumar, whose untimely demise on December 30, 2024 left a lasting impact on the members of the steering committee, planners, and organisers of the Lincoln Global Postdoctoral and Research Associate (LGPR) Programme. Prof. Senthil Kumar is survived by his wife and two daughters, whose resilience continues to inspire the community.
