SPAST Foundation has officially taken a position on ensuring that research remains independent and impartial, free from the influence of indexing and metrics controlled by for-profit publishing houses driven by commercial interests.
Therefore, we have chosen not to submit any conference proceedings material from the Lincoln Global Postdoctoral and Research Associate program for indexing in SCOPUS or any other database.
This decision reflects our dedication to promoting the dissemination of high-quality research in reputable journals. We advise publishing your work in journals owned by organizations or publishing houses recognized for upholding publishing ethics and integrity. Our focus continues to be on supporting and promoting scholarly work on platforms that prioritize transparency, integrity, and academic excellence.
Through SGS and SPAST Foundation's publishing outlets:
We will offer a variety of metrics to ensure a fair evaluation of research.
We promote responsible authorship and aim to include author contribution statements or adopt CRediT according to the standards being set by NISO.
We participate in the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC) and are dedicated to making reference list metadata publicly available.
Our journals do not limit the number of references in research articles.
We will strive to promote the citation of primary literature over reviews.
