[Supervisor Series] Meet Prof B Raja Sarath

Prof. Raja Sarath Kumar Boddu is currently serving as a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam. He brings with him 25 years of experience in Engineering Education, and his services have been ratified in the cadre of ‘Principal’ by JNT University, Kakinada. He has authored five books and twenty-three book chapters in the field of Computer Science and has published eighty-seven research papers. He is also the inventor of seven patents related to Computer Science. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, and earned his PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor's degrees from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida, USA. He has supervised seventeen postgraduate dissertations and ten undergraduate dissertation groups to date. He has was awarded several travel grants for research and was invited to the Engineering Leaders Conference on Engineering Education held in Doha from 9–11 November 2014, organised by Texas A&M University at Qatar. He is a Fellow of IEI (India), a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and a Life Member of IETE, ISCA, and CSI. He has reviewed over 100 research papers and continues to serve as a reviewer for journals such as Springer’s Journal of Supercomputing, IEI Springer, Hindawi, Tech Science Press, Information Sciences, and IEEE Access. Additionally, he is an Editor, Researcher, Programmer, Keynote Speaker, Innovator, Mentor, Patent Holder, and Administrator. He is also the recipient of several meritorious awards, including the ISCA Best Research Paper Award and the Vignan Prathibha Puraskar.
